STIs

An STI is an infection that’s passed from one person to another through sexual activity. Sexually transmitted infections are really common and it’s absolutely nothing to be ashamed of or embarrassed about!

Contraception

If you’re sexually active or considering sex, choose a contraception method that works for you. Your GP or local sexual health clinic can help you explore your options. Condoms can also help protect against STIs and unwanted pregnancies.

As of 29th October 2025, all 32 pharmacies in North East Lincolnshire (NEL) and all 29 pharmacies in North Lincolnshire (NL) are now offering EHC as part of the NHS Pharmacy Contraception Service. This means all young people across these areas can access the oral emergency contraceptive pill without needing a GP appointment or visiting a sexual health clinic.
